Guest post guidelines
- Original and unpublished. We run plagiarism checks. Mostly AI-generated drafts are rejected.
- 800–1,500 words, with H2/H3 headings, short paragraphs and an answer-first intro.
- Accurate and sourced. Link to primary sources for facts, stats and quotes.
- Helpful, not promotional. At most one relevant link to your own site, in the body or bio. We may edit or remove links.
- Images: you own the rights or use a free licence. JPG/PNG/WebP, 1200 px wide or more, with alt text.
- Author bio: 40–60 words, real name, a profile link (LinkedIn or a personal site).
- Format: Google Doc (comment access) or .docx.
What we don’t accept
Casino or betting links in general posts (see casino guidelines), adult content, CBD/pharma claims, crypto “get rich” pitches, spun content, link-insertion requests on old posts, and anything about minors.
Sponsored content and disclosure
Commercial placements are possible. They are labelled Sponsored and their links use rel=”sponsored”, following Google guidelines. We never sell undisclosed links.
How to submit
- Read a couple of recent articles in your category.
- Email thenewsify@gmail.com with subject “Guest Post Pitch – [Topic]”: working title, 3-line outline, why you’re qualified, 1–2 writing samples.
- Once the topic is approved, send the full draft within 14 days.
- We edit, schedule and email you the live link (usually 1–2 weeks after approval).
