Your pace of eating food determines the amount of food you consume and your weight gained. Yes, eating slowly and chewing more often are capable of cutting down on calorie consumption and the risk of gaining weight.
2. Diet With Greek Yogurt
There is no flaw with regular yogurt too but Greek yogurt is thicker, creamier, and more nutritious than a regular one. It’s because water is strained away from the yogurt and it comes out as high in fat and protein. Moreover, greek yogurt already is perfect for those who want to lose weight and maintain good health.
3. Cutting Saturated Fat & Sugar
It is very important to give attention to the amount and type of fat you are eating, considering that some amount of fat is essential for the body. Locate the food with saturated food and cut down its consumption including:
- Sausages
- Butter

- Hard cheese
Rather replace saturated fats with healthy foods like vegetable oil, oily fish, avocados, etc. If you choose to go for meat, pick lean cuts and remove any visible fat from your diet. Remember, fat has high energy so any food consisting of fat must be consumed in a limited amount. With this, understand that sugary drinks and food are high in energy and contribute to gaining weight. Obesity and tooth decay come hand in hand. Hence, one must avoid sugary cereals, cakes, biscuits, sweets, chocolates, alcoholic drinks, and puddings. One can keep a check on food labels to find the amount of sugar involved in the food item.
4. Plenty Of Water
One must drink plenty of fluids so that you don’t get dehydrated. It is always advisable to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water every day apart from other fluids. Other fluids that you can avoid include alcohol, sugary and fizzy drinks. You must keep in mind that even unsweetened fruit juices have high free sugar, so make sure you control them all accordingly.

Canned fruit juices are usually equipped with concentrated sugar, may lack real fruit components and fiber. It can raise blood sugar levels to a great level and not act as a healthy daily eating habit.

No food is nutritious enough if you are not exercising enough to digest it. Exercise not only maintains your body weight but also improves your mood, lowers depression, anxiety, and stress. If you stay active and mindful, there are fewer chances of binge eating which contributes to numerous physical and mental problems.
