Launch of The All New Peugeot 3008 in Argentina
We saw it for the first time when it presented at the Paris Hall back in October 2016. At that moment we interviewed who is today the Director of Marketing and Communication of Peugeot Argentina, Julian Tello, who advanced us “The Peugeot 3008 will arrive in the second half of 2017 to Argentina”.
The brand of the lion chose El Calafate to make the presentation to the press of this model that is within one of the segments that has been growing the most in recent years as the SUVs. The new model arrives with an important award as the Car of the Year 2017 that delivered in Europe, where the European press chooses the best cars of the year.
The All New Peugeot 3008
The new 3008 completely revamped with a new silhouette, abandoning its minivan status to become an SUV. Developed on the EMP2 platform of the Group, it is manufactured in the Sochaux plant in France while its propellers are assembled in the French production centers of Tremery and Douvrin.
The new 3008 SUV will be available in three versions (Allure THP Tiptronic – GT-Line THP Tiptronic and GT-Line HDi Tiptronic) with a 1.6 liter turbocharged direct injection diesel engine. That allows you to deliver a power of 165 hp and 240 Nm torque. And the other 2.0-liter turbo diesel with 150 hp of power and a torque of 370 Nm. In all cases, these engines will associated with a 6-speed automatic sequential gearbox. The 3008 equipped with the Advance Grip Control. Which adds performance to the traditional Grip Control with five grip modes: Normal, Snow, Clay, Arena and ESP OFF.

Its design shows a front with vertical lines, a long bonnet, a raised body. Side protective moldings, large wheels and a good distance to the floor that reaches 22 centimeters. Its glossy black roof called “Black Diamond” gives it elegance and fluidity. The canons of the new SUV merge with the stylistic codes of the brand proposing modernity, quality and experiences.
The feline look is accentuated by its full LED headlights surrounded by black and chrome masks which accentuate the identity of the new 3008, while in the back a bright black horizontal stripe integrates the LED lights with the three claws that identify the visual signature PEUGEOT.
In terms of connectivity the new Peugeot 3008 equipped with the Mirror Screen function. Smartphone recharge by induction (devices compatible with the Qi standard) and 3D navigation connected.
The great comfort equipment was accompanied by a complete safety equipment having: stability control, traction control, hill assist, ABS, emergency braking assistance, brake pressure distribution, 6 airbags, pyrotechnic front seat belts with 3-point inertia rear seatbelts with effort limiter, ISOFIX 3-point anchor system for children, electric parking brake, driving time warning, full LED spotlights + LED daytime running lights, headlights depth LED w / Cornering function and automatic closing of doors on set.
